We purchased this dresser for our 6-year-old son's room and we are very happy with it. The holder arrived faster than we predicted and there were no broken or scratched pieces. The drawers probably take the most time to put together, but it's a piece of furniture that needs assembled so we predicted it to take some time. I think the plastic sliders work just fine. The drawers glide in and out without much effort.
Our allocation didn't allow for much more than what this dresser cost, so we were careful to find something that wouldn't fall apart or collapse after daily use from a wee boy. This dresser will hold up nicely for his needs. The backing is cardboard so if you move colse to a lot, it might require reinforcement down the road, but for basic every day use it looks very classy and works great.
